Havvey,
Try this site: http://www.antiquengines.com/
It has a lot of good links to other sites. It will at least get you started.
Where in Maine do you live?
I'm in Kennebunk;

Be careful!! Model building is addictive. One is never enough!
Check out: cabinfeverexpo.com this is our local model show, they have a good website with lots of links and pictures. Good luck!

HAVVY
In what part of eastern Maine are you located? I am in Calais. Me and my two sons are model makers. At present we have a Bull Dog, Reid, Bessmer, and four Hot air engine completed or under construction.

A couple months ago, Harry gave the list of modelbuilders from a few years prior. He willprobably refer you to that list, but if you are unable to get it, let me know and I can send you a copy of it. I currently have a very fine model of the 25h.p. fairbanks-morse that I would consider selling. It was built by the former 7 mountains modelbuilders in Penna in 1993, is complete in all detail, including igniter, muffler, and lots of brass components in some areas, including the cast brass nametag.
