Some of you know what i have been going through lately. I have been fighting high blood pressure for about5 years and the doctor has not been able to keep it down. She has been saying for 3 years that it was job stress related.I had been subcrontacting for 8 years to a builder who had turned into a BBBB.Anyway after the first of this yearshe had me go through a complete physical with a big blood workup. When it came back my psa for prostate was elevated. She sent me to another dr who checked my prostate and couldnt find anything wrong. He thought it was just an infection and put me on some strong antibotics for 30 days. The psa had jumped 5 points. Another round for 21 days and it was up another 2 points so a biopsy was in order. When it came back the cancer was high enough that surgery was a must. The tumor was on the back side of the prostate and would never have showed up until possibly too latewithout the blood test.I NEVER SHOWED ANY SYMPTOMS so the ones of us out here who have it checked regularly might want to think about the blood test. Iwill be down for about 2 months but hopefully in a month i can start going to some shows again Ed Malcom the le roi man

I hope all goes well for you, It is a very scarey situation, I was having digestive troubles about 10 yrs. ago at 27 years old I had every test imagineable over the period of a year. I wound up gallbladderless to take care of the problem, but while undergoing a colon exam they discovered pollops and removed them and they were pre-cancerous at age 27!!!
The doctor told me that an examination like that normally would not have been performed to age 50 and it would have all been over with by then. So all I can say is the good lord was looking out for me!! Best wishes for a speedy recoveryDenny |

I have a pal who had his prostate removed at age 59. He was up and around pretty darn quick. A year earlier, same fella had pre-cancerous polyps so they remove a chunk of colon.
I think before 2 months after the prostate surgery had elapsed, he began walking 3 miles almost every day. It has done him a world of good. He ain't no athlete, either- he's had high blood pressure for years and developed some kind of adult onset diabetes, but the doc told him the walking has helped a lot. Good luck, not just to Ed, but to everyone!!! |

I had 2 friends who had lower back pain. The both went to Chiropracters, and made great claims of pain relief. When 1 of the guys pain kept coming back on a more frequent basis, and greater intensity, the chiropracter finally told him "I can't help you anymore, go see a regular docter". He did, and was put in the hospital the next day.
The cancer had spread to other internal organs, and he was gone in less than 2 weeks . My other friend then went to his regular docter, and had nearly the same result, he had the operation, the docters gave him 2 weeks, and he lasted 2 days!. I miss my friends very much, and can only say, get tested, wether you 'need ' it or not yearly, and see a docter at the first sign of trouble. I wish you a speedy recovery, and God bless Andrew |

Hello Ed, I know what your going through. About 2 months ago I went to the doc about a problem. They did a blood work up and I had high psa also. Had a biop and thankfully it came back negative. But the doc said theres a 15% chance that there could be cancer and they missed it. So back again in 6 months for another blood test to see what the psa is doing. I know waiting for the results was one very long week. They say it runs in familys and my grandfather died from it so no matter how embarissing or akward it seems it needs to be done. My doc told me that 20% of men with high psa have prostate cancer. Thats 1 in 5. On the drive home I could'nt help but wonder if maybe the guy before or after me was one of the 5. My problem was unrelated also but I'm 48 years old and have never had a phsical so had one while I was there. May turn out to be the smartest thing I've ever done. The type of cancer you get when your younger is a more aggressive type so it's very important to catch it early. Hope things work out ok for you and take care. Greg.

Hi Ed, I wish you a speedy recovery! I myself am going thru the big C. I had a spot come up on my back about a year ago. At first I thought it was a pimple
but it never went away. The DR. poked, proded, and did a biopsy of it today. Sure enough cancer. he says its the least form of skin cancer one can have and that it would never be fatal. It really took me by suprise, being that I'm 27 years old. Dangerous or not I insisted that it be removed. It was, now I"m left with a pretty good size dent in my back. But, a small price to pay for having that removed! ED as long as your in shape by the 3rd weekend in October for the CATOOSA show you'll be doing great!

I hope every thing goes good for you Ed. My dad lost a friend of his due to cancer. I'm not sure what kind but he battled it for two years with no luck. My neighbor was diagnosed with cancer last year. She was lucky that it was caught early. When I was younger I was diagnosed with a heart mumer (hole in one of the arterie's supplying blood through out my body). I went in for a medical/health check up about 7 years ago and they were no longer able to find the mumer
. Then 5 years ago I was diagnosed with skoliosis (curvature of the spinel colum) the doc's noticed I was walking oddly when I went in to have my finger stiched back together after I cut it open with a knife, they did they're test and sure enough I have a bad back. They said I would be unable to lift 100lb's. Went back for another check up and surprised them when I lifted up the weight they said i would not be able to. I was 15 at the time and I am now twenty and still going strong. Good luck and Take care of you're self Everyone!

Sorry to hear about your problem, but it can be beaten. If you do a Google search for "essiac" you will find a lot of useful information. You can buy the four herbs at any good herb store and make it up yourself. The prepared versions are usually much more expensive. I could go on for pages, but suffice it to say, that, as Dr. Charles Brusch, JFK's person physician put it: "Essiac is a cure for cancer, period". (He cured himself of prostate cancer with it) I'd also suggest looking for books by Norman Walker and Bernard Jensen and following their dietary guidelines as closely as you can. Dr. John Christopher was a herbal genius and his "School of Natural Healing" is 600+ pages of very valuable information. "You health, it's the only thing you can't live without." The best of luck to you!
I'll add one thing here: "How I Cured Myself of Cancer", by Howard N. Wagar. (4 quarts of carrot juice a day and red clover extract is the short answer) Published by Alive Books, 1989 Last edited by Robt.; 06-26-2005 at 09:03 PM. |
