Default United Eng. Made for Gray-Aldrich Question

Hi, Does anyone have any information on the Gray-Aldrich Co. I have a United Engine with a Gray- Aldrich brass tag on it. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks in Advance and Thanks to Harry.

I can' t explain the Gray Aldrich name. The engine is clearly a United. They are apparently quite rare as I only have 3 others besides yours in the United registry. Your serial number fits right in with the other 3.

Dick:; I guess that is not a type A.... Some parts look alike ..Mine is 1917 I think..Mine did not come with a Mag.... Gooseneck Ignitor ..looks like my setup.. Runs real slow..Byron
