Photo Engine ID

I would like to know a little more about the engine in the picture. It looks like a Nelson brothers product, about 2 1/2 HP. Can someone tell me what model it is, and about when it was made? It doesn't look like most Nelson Brothers engiens I have seen. The mag has brass end plates.

I think it's a 3hp, that's what most of them that size are.
