Question Re: 10 hsp Mc Cormick M

Depends on condition - Barn fresh, restored, rust bucket - stuck, all original - running, what have you! I have seen a rust bucket go for $20, and a near perfect barn fresh running for $600. The 10 HP is sort of uncommon, but you dont see them at shows because they are so heavy! What kind of shape is it in? Is it all complete? Are you looking to buy, or sell? Thanks,
Andrew

As far as 1 1/2hp models go I agree with Andrew, however for the 10 HP models I think you'd better put another zero behind those figures. Tom

I keep a file of auction results reported by folks on the Internet. Here is what I have for the 10 h.p. IHC Type M

IHC M 10 h.p. $2,200

10 HP IHC Ignitor "M" on Original Trucks,Clutch Pulley, Battery Box $10,600
(excellant condition, no cracks or welds, needed painting - this is not an error)

IHC "M" 10 HP, $5,900

IHC H 10 HP, $7,750.00 (I believe this is a typo. I think it is an IHC “M”)

I paid $5300 for my 10hp M at Danny Roen's sale a couple of years ago. The price also greatly depends on whether the engine has an ignitor, or a sparkplug for ignition. Mine is a ignitor. Just my two cents worth. Jeremy
