I'll be going, but just spectating as I didn't have time to reserve a spot....I'll be looking for some stuff to buy though! Namely a belt pulley for a JD corn sheller, and possibly a small gristmill to make use of my 2 1/2 hp engine.

M M, there's about a ka-zillion spectators each year that think so.

Its much more than a engine show. More like a complete family theme park.

We have lived in NC for 5 years and have not made it to Denton yet. Was thinking about it this year, but don't know if it is worth it. Their web site doesn't show much of the show. I went to Rough and Tumble for many years and they did not charge much, and it is a big show. We might make it this year.

I plan on being at the denton show with 2 of my Kinkades. I didn't reserve a spot so no telling where I'll end up. I went as a spectator last year and thought it was worth the price.

I am going too , plan to get there Friday morning, bringing an witte and others and some $$! My first year was 1984 and it gets bigger every year. I think it to be the biggest in the southeast and one of the best. Every year bargin hunting gets harder but, I still come home with one or several !

Wink Re: Denton Anyone?

I think I have been bamboozled here. (Yes that is a real word).

Did someone mention a Headless Witte at Denton??? And is it for sale??? If not, can I rub on it...just a little??? Yes folks, I love them Witties!!!

I have decided this year in Ralph's honor that I will aim the exhaust pipe of my Witte Diesel down his way. It will scare away all his mosquitoes and that is definitely the least I can do for an old friend.

I also think Ralph forgot to mention to you folks that a good portion of my collection came from under his shed. Now Ralph, you didn't think they were junk back then.

And as for Oldsteel1, he doesn't bring any junky stuff to the shows.....he leaves his junk at home.

And finally to Mr. Vaughan, I still have room on my trailer for a certain 3 hp "Headless" engine....hint...hint.

Y'all play nice or it might be a long 5 days at Denton.

I hope to see lots of Stakers at Denton this year...y'all come!!!

What's up Merton, I'll be there Thursday through Sunday in the AC camping area. I went last year and stayed one day. I'm sure looking forward to it.
