Default Model Z Dishpan 2 horse

HI again, I was just thinking that it would be intresting to find out what these Z model dishpans ran or what they were ment to run back then when they were made. does anybody have any old advertisements or copy's of advertisements? any old pictures and history of them? i just thought it would be nice to know the history of it but ofcource, IF engines could talk.....boy would't that be intresting! some engines even come with there own little peice of history, still mounted to the machinery they once worked,...but unfortunatly, my engine didn't come like that....well, dar n ,
BUT, im still happy that i have the engine.

Thanks ahead for any info!

they ran small equipment like cream seperators corn shellers etc. if they could talk it would probably be something like how they sat out in the rain or in a dusty barn being used as a stand or bench! how the owner over worked it and cussed at it. the part about the neighbors wife or the avon lady in the hay mow might be interesting along with the poached deer, moose etc.

We had a hit and miss dishpan that ran adeep well water pump until electricity came to our farm in central Pa. In the early 40s. My Dad sold it for less than $1.00 in the early 60s at public sale. Bought one just like about 6yrs ago with orginal batt box for $350.00. Dick in central Pa.

There is one for sale right now on HARRY,S called a "BOB-A_LAWN". The original instruction page is inside the battery box. Interesting, don,t let it get away.
