Default Valda Potter engine?

I'm attempting to do some research on Valda Potter's engine/company (Oelwein, Iowa) but not finding anything. I've read Wendel's piece in the bible, but there's not a whole lot there either. Don't suppose any of you guys can offer any info or point me in the right direction? Thanks!
