Anyone attend the auction (Duwa Auction) last Friday (7/8) in Independence IA? I couldn't make it. Curious as to what the F-M N and the old style Waterloo tank cooled brought - anyone know?

Thanks.

The Fairbanks 8Hp brought $9,000 and went East of St. Louis. The Waterloo engine missing parts, stuck, cracked cyl brought $18,500 and went South of Dunkerton, IA. The 20hp Cushman stuck, missing parts brought $4,000 and migrated to Charles City, Ia. The Kennit truck, only one made from a blacksmith shop in Missouri, went for $8,000 and migrated to Mason City, IA. The Bates Steel Mule tractors, these were carcases with not enough parts to make even one complete one, sold for a combined @ $15,000. To me and a few other fellows the best deal of the auction was a Fordson tractor complete and on full steel sold for $700. Most of the engines went high for the condition they were in. Most of them were stuck and missing parts. A real eye opener though.
