Default portland and engines

um..... what do you have to worry about someone messin with yer engine at portland this time around at the show? is it about the same as the swap meet? i would like to bring 1 or 2 of my engines, fully restored, and show them, but i dont like the idea of someone messin with them, in other words, parts scavenging an engine, does this happen or no? most of the time, i will not be right there with my engines do to i got to go look around, you know , but i dont want to come back and find somethings wrong or misssing . this will be my second time to portland but my first bringing an engine, i know a few people at portland, maybee i could set mine next to there's...

I have shown engines at Portland for over 20 years. Common ones to rare ones. I have been away for quite a time in the flea market, leave them at night and never have had a problem. I do not think you have to worry.

Ditto on John Davidsons reply, We been going for 23 years. No problems so far . You do not camp with your engines . All engines and tractors, venders etc. are in the fairgrounds. You camp across the road on the club grounds where the swap meet is held. No displays are allowed in the club grounds during the show. Joe Morris
