Several Nelson Bros engines had a Webster with a c in front of the M Why? thats a good question.. It seemed to have something to do with the mounting / control whether left or right side. Ihope this sheds a little light on the question. Joe morris

Dale. the C stands for Right hand magneto with the timing control on the ignitor and with a left hand starting handle.
