Ruug mowers?

I picked up 2, may try to build one that works from them. Look to be late 60's early 70's....

Default Ruug mowers?

I picked up 2, may try to build one that works from them. Look to be late 60's early 70's. Turquoise paint. Reel mowers, B&S 2 hp horozontil engines, drive wheel rubber needs replaced, any info on this company?

I have a Rugg riding mower and have seen quite a few others; but I haven't come across any reel mowers.

You can get tires from Miller's Tire. They will send you a catalog for free. I can get their address for you.

What is the model of the engines? Do they have a serial number or code number? If there is no tag, are they cast iron or aluminum? How many fins are on the side of the cylinder?

These are aluminum, model 60102 from memory. Don't recall the code, though the year referenced was late 60's to early 70's, probably 71. One is completely seized, the other had a dirt nest in the muffler and exhaust port, but now runs.

The second mower may not be a Rugg, very close in color but says ASA on manufacture tag, probably a different make.
