I've corrected a couple errors that had prevented a few individual pics from being clicked on. (They could be viewed in sequence, just not via direct thumb click.) All's right now! :-)

Nice photos, thanks ! There is a Fairbanks ignitor type, throttle governed that has a tag on the topside of the head. I'm not familiar with a Fairbanks with that look. Photo caption says its a 1-1/2 hp.

Can anyone provide some details about this engine. I've never seen one like this before and don't recall seeing it in my various books.

It has as "flatbar" exhaust rod that transits a cover over the ignitor region.

Thanks for the pic's....... This is the one I'm curious about at this time:

I took a close up pic of the brass tag; the only things on it are:
FAIRBANKS
1 1/2 H.P. Z 500 R.P.M.
MORSE & CO.

The tag was held on with two brass slotted head screws.

There was no display sign with the engine, so I don't have any more details about it or know who owns it.

Rick: Nice photos of the show. They had some real nice IHC engines on display. My favorite . Thanks for taking the time to take all those pictures and post them for us to look at.

This engine is a 1 1/2 HP Plug Oscillator it was the engine made after the Headless and in between the AB-33 equipped engine, It is throttle governed, to my knowledge this is the only model with the type of tag arrangement. I saw a nice one at Cool Spring, and almost bought one online at proxi-bid auction but, i had to figure shipping and buyers premium into the bid price so i didn't bid as high as i wanted to, there nice engines and seem the be a quite uncommon Fairbanks Engine, I do have an original copy of the parts list for this engine framed on the wall of my garage, it is described as "throttle governed Oil Engine 1919 pattern" , it's the last one i need to complete my 1 1/2 HP Fairbanks collection
