Question ALFCO Light plant

Would anyone happen to know who built the generators for
American LaFrance? The tag shows American LaFrance as
the builder, but I am not convinced of this. Looks as tho
it may have been built by Onan. It is gasoline, 2.6HP, 2100RPM,
1250 watts, 120volts DC. Would guess it to be late 40's early fifties
vintage. Thanks.

According to Gus, the one I just came into was built by Onan.
Mine is 2500 watts, and I'm dating it mid 50s at the earliest.
