Yeah I saw that one. Never seen an apple peeler that big before. I would love to see it in operation. Stuff like that is what gets me excited in the morning...all those moving parts and twirling shafts, gears, and pulleys! Don't know if it's really worth that much money, but apparently somebody thought it was.

We got something similar to that at work, only it's 7' tall and has 3 peeling stations. Sure is neat to watch all those gears and cams in action! It's belted to an electric motor right now but I'm trying to convince my boss to let me try one of my engines on it.

Paul, you must have a bottomless shed!

Anyone have any idea why the apple peeler would be called a hit & miss peeler? Does it only peel everyother apple?
