Might as well chime in here - got mine today too. So, is the ORIGINAL yellow book going to remain a collector's item now? Or is that status moved back to the leather bound author signed edition?

Man was that fast! I sent off my check on August 6th and I recieved my BYB today, August 19th via US mail! My mailman said that I would have gotten it sooner if it would have been shipped First Class! I have never owned one of these marvels, only had a peek once at one and the owner would not lend it out! I'll probably not lend mine out either. It is a great book; I can't believe all of the engines that were made in those early days!

Karl

Jim,
I sent my payment in early July also, and just received my BYB today - 8/20/05. You might want to give it a little more time. Johnny

Got mine yesterday. I mailed in as soon as the ad came out. The odd thing is that it was mailed to me on July 27th and got here on Aug 20th. Gives new meaning to snail mail. It was worth the wait.
