Smile Valve Seat Grinder

I recently one a KO LEE Knock-Out Valve Seat Grinder on E-Bay. It arrived to day but it doesn't have any instructions. Would anyone out there in engine land have one of these that could make me a copy of there instruction sheets ? Whatever you can do would be a big help.
Thanks.
Dave.

Lightbulb Re: Valve Seat Grinder

I AM NOT MUCH HELP BUT HAVE OWNED OR RUN SEVERAL TYPES. MOST HAVE A STONE AND A CHUCK OR COLLET TO HOLD OR TURN THE VALVE AND A STONE TO CUT THE FACE. THE OTHER SIDE HAS A SIMILAR UNIT TO GRIND THE STEM (MORE SO FOR FLATHEAD ENGINES) THE SEAT MACHINE IS A DIFERENT UNIT THERE HAS ALWAYS BEEN ALOT OF CONTROVERSY ON HOW TO DO VALVES. SOME LAPPING MAY STILL BE REQUIRED.

Dave,

I've found that some of these older companies have old literature available. Go to there web site for email and telephone contact information at:
http://www.kolee.com/

Of course I've also found older companies that don't.

Regards,
Larry Evans
