Does anyone have prices on what the Briesch-Peters engine patterns and parts went for? I went to the sale Saturday, a lot of people said the stuff being sold was there the day before. Im'e inclined to agree. One person ran up the bidding on most of the model engines, and ended up with them. The gentleman sitting next to me said the buyer was the 'same buyer as yesterday' (friday)

Andrew,
Although I was not able to attend this year, I did see a message on another forum that the B-P engine patterns sold for $3,200 to $3,500 depending on which engine was being auctioned. I have no other information. Jim |

I was at the entire auction and here is the sale price as I was able to record
omestic patterns, castings, etc. $3200 ; 1/4 scale Olds $3200; 1/2 scale Olds $3500; crank pattern board $300; Assoc. air or hoppercooled $3000 ;small ignitor version $1200; Sandwich patterns and some castings $700; Nanzy witte patterns and some castings $900. These were all bought by three model making guys who live just a few short miles from York, Pa. and when I talked with them on Sat. afternoon, they said they hope to start selling the models in the future. I have the name and E-mail address for the main person of these 3 if someone wants to E-mail me for it. Overall the auction brought a total of approx. $15000 for the Breisch/Peters model patterns and parts. W.B.Lewis
