Default Info Wanted On Fm Mag

I have a nice, hot Fairbanks Morse Magneto for a four cylinder engine. It has an impulse coupling and is base mounted. It is a type X4A11, serial number 2651438. Does anyone know what it fits?

That 11 means it was originally for an International Harvester product, but exactly which models I don't know. I have several of these and would like to know more specifics, too.

Hi Bill. the number on the mag means this, FM, Fairbanks Morse, X is the type,4 is the number of cylinders,A stands for base mount,if there is a B thats flange mount, the final number is the customer number,11 is IHC and Allis Chalmers is 3 and so on. Hope this helps somewhat.
