Default Economy Model N

In 1997 I bought my first engine, a 1 1/2 HP Economy Model N. It would run for short periods of time and then stop. Over the years I have replaced the gas tank, gas line, check valve, and head gasket. The valves have been ground and valve guides bushed. There has been no change in how the engine runs. This past week I put a 1/8 inch reducer in the head end of the 1/4 inch gas line. Success! The little engine now runs like a Swiss watch. She will sit and chug along at 300 RPMs without a miss.
