Soap box time.....
I have noticed frequently enough to have it bother me that there are folks who will post a request for information and then never give any hint as to whether or not they ever came back to check for an answer.
If you take the time to type out your question (in some cases the details are a little sketchy, others are quite specific) and others put forth the time and effort to post a reply that clears up whatever issue prompted the question, please acknowledge that you have in fact received the information. A simple 'Thank you' would suffice.
I wonder if these people are expecting a personal e-mail from whoever might have the answer to their question. In a lot of cases the Q & A will be of such a nature that it is of interest to others as well, so answering in 'public' benefits more than just the initial inquirer.
This now concludes my "Rant & Vent" session.

Thumbs up Re: Posting Acknowledgment

A lot of times, people have sent me a personal thank you for info I have posted. I do not expect this, but it is welcome. If I receive a reply to a post I will pass along the thanks and the info. Thanks really belong to Harry. Without him and his visions on how these boards came to be, there would be nothing at all, and that would really be a shame. THANK YOU Harry! And thanks to all who enter, The answers are out there, All you have to do is ask. (And a thanks once in a while would be polite!)
