Question 6 HP "M" IHC factory portable value. It has a

WICO EK. It's complete, loose but not running, has some paint left, but not much. Fuel pick up probably clogged. Has the seat and metal battery box. What's it worth folks . I know what he wants, but that's another story.

Question Re: 6 HP "M" IHC factory portable value. It has a

M with WICO EK? built after 1923 - on skid - around 600- the limit, not running, on factory cart - all there, 8 or 900 tops - not running. Fuel pump may be bad, pick-ups in carb, tank full of s--t or rusted out, does it have compression, spark? Things to think on! Igniter engine - add 3-400. This is a heavy engine, you don't see many at shows - they just arn't all that popular!

I would tend to agree a bare bone 6hp M is pretty common. I would also think a lot higher though on a horse drawn origional cart (I assume thats what we are talking here) with seat and box. Maybe at least another thousand over the skidded engine. And, less and less M's are seen in the origional clothes. Now with a matching cart not a somehting cobbled together from east & west and repainted. Sounds nice and 6hp is coincidentally my favorite size, so sound very nice to me personally.
