What is it ???? HP ????? Model # ?????? Serial # ????

Depends on what you have found.

The engine was built buy Hercules Engine Co. Arcos should be Gray in color.

Jim,

The ad for the engine just says Arco gas engine $400. It does not go into detail about the engine.

The ARCO you are looking at is probably a 2 GH. Some have Lunkenheimer mixers and some have the standard J type. $400 isn't a bad price if it is all there and loose. A missing mag will set you back $200. Other parts can add up too (oiler, muffler, fuel tank, fuel spout etc. The correct ARCO color is a blue gray (more blue than gray).

Thanks for the info glenn.

I will call the guy and ask him if it is not stuck and it is all there. Lets hope he hasn't sold it already.

Didn't Arco have a HVID oil engine too? That would be a score if complete!!
