Question Portland in October???

Turns out that the kids will be out of school the weekend of the fall swap meet, and I am curious if anyone has heard any comments concerning the fall swap meet? As far as who will participate etc. will it be worth a trip or not??? I know it's the first year for the event so there is no history to refer to. I figured there was talk at the show about it and I am trying to test the waters so to speak. Before planning a trip.

Denny

Bad part is that they picked the same weekend as Coolspring fall swapmeet. Poor planning.

I have marked on my calendar that Coolspring is Oct. 13-14-15. I live in S.E.Pa. And like to go to the Jacktown meet in Bangor Pa.-also on the same weekend. Coolspring always wins out. And now there is three Meets the same weekend that I would like to go to?? It would be great if the three people that run the shows would get together and run their shows on different weekends. It would be a win for everyone. Ron

I don't think the tractor guys in charge of Portland give a rat's hind end about Coolsprings. My two cents on the subject. Mike

Not sure what they were thinking or maybe they weren't thinking when the date was set for the Portland SWAP (being the same weekend as Coolspring). I only live about 120 miles from Portland but I will be traveling about 350 miles (even with gas prices) to go to Coolspring.

Exclamation Re: Portland in October???

Coolsprings dates have been the 3rd full weekend in June and October for over 20 years.
