I have a Kittytrack model 600 made by Lennox Industries, Des Moines, Iowa. Serial number is 365-073. It has a Briggs engine with tracks and a mower in front. Can anyone give me any further information on this mower. I've never seen one like it.

Here is a link to a discussion on "Yesterday's Tractor" web-site regarding your Kitty Track. You might be able to get some information for your machine there.

I also have a lennox Kitty Track 600. I have a double bladed mower deck for the front. As much info as I know is that they were made for a few short years in the 60's before they got sued out by another company and were not aloud to make them anymore. My grandfather sold them and I have all the original sales and and handouts of all the attatchments you could purchase for them. They rand from several different mower decks to plows to snow blowers. There alot of attacthments I would like to find, but cant. Mine is a 64. It is pretty much all original and runs good. The pressure plates under the seat are getting wore down making the steering a little bit difficult. But it still does. I enjoy having it, because from what I can tell they are pretty rare. I am having alot of trouble finding people that have them or that are for sale. Parts seem alsmot impossible to find. I do know that the tracks are made form manure chain. And the sprockets are manure chain sprocktets. I had to tighten my tracks because they had got stretched out from use. If you have any other information to share, or questions, reply back.

That looks nice. If you check out the link I posted above you will see that my Kitty Track has a different set up on the mower. Instead of my belt comming straight out, It twists and runs horizontal with the top of the mower deck to power the 2 blades.

Every so ften on ebay a person runs a sale of all the info that is available for around $45. Too rich for my blood but it is all there. Not sure about lennox getting sued but do know they sold the rights and parts to an outfit in Ohio that is long out of business. IO've had 2 and still have 1 Kitty Trac. Have a blade, mower, and snowblower for mine. Grandkids abot run it to death.
they are rather rare and demand good money. $900-1300 just for tractor. |

I have a kitty track 600 on EBAY right now. I have the mower attachment and the blade. I have some pictures there of the tractor. They are great little machines and very good conversation pieces. I have been contacted as far away as New Zealand. I guess there is a big following for the mini tractor.
If you want to see the pictures or bid on the item go to item # 160130140849 on Ebay.com. Paul |
