HELP!!!!!! i just bought a 1996 Cruisemaster MH by Georgie Boy. The Generator was out and in the coach. I was told by the shop that serviced it that it needs a stator, volt reg, fuse holder, start/stop switch and a ground strap. I want to get a factory service manual, Am I asking too much??? Anyone out there know where I can get one or tell me how to trouble shoot. I do not have the model number with me right now, but I do know it is powered by a Magnum 20 hp (ep) engine and is 5,000 watt. Thanks so much anyone, Kim

Sounds like quite a project. You might send the stator to a motor rewind shop for repair, but it sounds uneconomical even so. Maybe you can find a parts set to purchase. Maybe one with engine problems.

You have enough engine for more generator capacity if you can find a larger generator end that will fit. Maybe as large as 10-12kW. Of course you can put as large as you want on it, but the engine won't be able to drive anything much bigger than 10-12kW to full capacity. There are some imported generators for sale pretty cheap.

I think the engine is a 20 hp is this genset is a 4 pole/1800 rpm unit and the engines 20 hp rating is at 3600 RPM.

Hi Guys, Thanks me again, It is a 5CKM21 model. I tried to get it to run today it fired but did not stay running, I need to rig up a gas tank for it, LOL I'll let you know if I get any output, LOL Kim
