Default local auction results

Here are some local auction results if anyone is interested. 1) 3hp Smyth-675$. 2) 1.5hp Economy-800$. 3) 1.5 to 3hp LA-350$. 4) 1.5hp Galloway-850$. 5) Harley stationary-3100$. 6) B&S kickstart-100$. 7) B&S hand ratchet start-110$. 8) American Engine Company Marine engine with shaft and prop-500$. 9) Briggs FH-375$. 10) Four Maytag 92's-75, 95, 75, and 70$, one 82-200$, Three twins 120, 135, and 165$. First printing of BYB in excellent condition-60$. There were a lot of other small Briggs and some mags and coils, but I had to leave before the auction was over. These were running engines. You're welcome Paul. Although I always find it a little sad for the reason for an auction like this, it was handled with good taste and everyone there was nice. I met some people I haven't seen for a while, and it was the first auction my wife has gone to. She found it interesting, couldn't believe how fast an auctioneer can talk and how much action there can be once a good round of bidding gets started. I just went to get the info I posted and to get out of the house for a day, if circumstances were different I would have bid on more than what I did (didn't win any of what I was interested in, deeper pockets than mine). The HD had a proxy bid from their corporate headquarters. Sure was a lot more fun than bidding on eBay. David.
