Question Milker Vacuum Pump

Good Morning.........

I was at a small show last weekend and met a new member to our club. He had built a display with a FM 2 1/2 belted to a two cylinder vacuum pump with a vacumm reciever tank and an old Surge milker. Pretty nice setup and the passersby liked it.

The vacuum pump was an old open crank unit and the casting said: "Independent Milker Company, Pittsburg PA"

The older fellow and I got talking and he asked if I could research this pump a bit. Have any of you fellows heard of or seen this manufacturer? I do not have pictures, so I don't have a thousand words, sorry.

Thanks in advance,

Bruce

Milking machines are just one more way to properly display a working engine.

I tried "Independent Milker" in Google and Yahoo and hit nothing.
