What screen size are you using?

In Windows XP, right click your desk top and select properties. Then select settings and take a look in the lower left hand corner. It should show your screen resolution in pixels.

Since we are all getting older, we went to 19" and 21" Eizo CRT's, and mainly use 1024 X 768 or 1280 X 1024. LCD's would be nice as they leave more desk space, but we can pick up a good used 21" Eizo F930 CRT for £25 including taxes, that's about $US45.00.

Our son has a 17" on his PC which he sets at 800 X 600 and he has the best eyesight of us all! might be a moral there.....

The factory machines are 17" sizes and set similarly.

Might also be worth pointing out that we have gone over to Compaq SFF EN desktop machines 'en masse'. These are cute little Small Form Factor (SFF) machines that have built in network/graphics/sound and have 3 PCI slots for anything else you might want. We can get 1ghz second user (corporate) machines for under £100 each, P733 and P650 even cheaper and they are excellent!
