Well with just 2 stackers going the odds should be good that you come home with something. The Eddy boys are really nice guys tell them Bob Cutler says hey for me. Good luck and let us all know how you did. Bob

Look on the Nixson website later this week as they'll post some of the prices. Was that first engine on the sale bill an American Boy? Or was that a typo?

I took down some of them, but eventually got tired of writing. If you know which one I'll see if I got that one.

Does anyone remember the 1 3/4 Galloway air cooled. How much did it go for and how complete was it?

Thanks, Dick

It was all there and on a set of trucks, it went for $900. The trucks looked like repro to me, they were too smooth to be original.

Here are some pictures and prices at the link. (2 pages)

http://www.oldengine.org/members/sba.../2005Eddy1.htm

This one was bid up to $900....I don't believe that it "sold" It was part of the consignment row and almost all of the items there were purchased by the same number and went back on the trailer that they were delivered on.

This one sold for $400

Thanks, Steve. Looks like some of those engines spent some time under water or buryed in the ground.

Thanks for the pictures. It looks like some pretty good deals were available to those in attendance.

The ash-grey Fairbanks may need a bearing adjustment but I might leave the pooched in hopper as-is. They are rare, in that condition. LOL

Did anyone see the small steam engine sell that was listed on the bill or grab a picture of it? I think the auctioneers should hire Steve and send him out before the sale to do there interenet site.

Did anyone get the price on the air compressor setup with the Briggs model A? Steve, were you wearing a blue sweat shirt? I thought it looked like it, but I didn't want to look like an idiot if I was wrong.

If anybody knows who bought the Taylor Vacuum Engine parts at the auction, I'd be happy to hear of it!
