Evinrude 2 cylinder


I trying to find out information on this engine such as year, model number, hp, ect. any help would...

Default Evinrude 2 cylinder

I trying to find out information on this engine such as year, model number, hp, ect. any help would be appreciated. Kent

The model and serial numbers on evinrude inboards are usually stamped in the outer thin edge of the mounting flanges. Usually have to scrape paint off they are faintly stamped- steel wool helps.
Yours should be a Model DD early twenties, 5 Hp.

Thanks, I checked that out and found the following "DD66259". Hope that can narrow it down for someone to date this engine. Does anybody have any input on where to find parts or the possible value of this engine?

I would like to find a engine like that not many around here in Iowa. What does one like that go for? Are they more plentyfull in 2 cyl or 1 thanks Bob
