As with all of my auction reports I've done the best I can, any errors in selling price and

hp of the engines is completely mine. One funny story: I was recording prices in my little

notebook, the official auction recorder leaned over to me and asked me what one of the

engines sold for because he had missed the selling price. Good to know one can be useful

once in a while!!

Maybe someone else who was there knows. I don't know anything about styles of Fairbanks engines. I didn't take a picture of that specific engine and it didn't show up in any of the other pictures I took today, sorry.

Was there for short while this morning. Looked like a hole lot of magnetos and magneto parts for the number of engines that were there. Were the engines at the sale just a part of the original collection? The Mogul looked like it could be made into something but the cylinder looked like it would need to be sleeved. - Kevin
