Default Aussie enginuity

G'DAY
Just been scrounging through my old pics and found these, they where taken about 15 years ago at a place called Warnambool on the Victorian coast Australia. The front half is an "A"ford and the rear is i think a bren gun carrier drive axle and transmission hooked up to the ford gearbox, with another in between so it has about 36 forward and 9 reverses. It has 2 winches and a welder mounted permanantly on board,he has a crane jib at home which he puts on as needed. It was street registered so he could use it on the farm as a tractor/truck/crane/winch base/mobile welder or a registered road vehicle. If memory serves me correctly the tractor/truck was built around the late fifties.Regards Phillip

Phillip: I always like to see things like this made "TO ORDER" item to satisy one's needs at the time. Neat
