Fairbanks Morse Air compressor???

Hi Guys, I would like to get any information that's out there on this air compressor. The name plate says the following: United Pump & Power Co. Manufacturers Perry Pneumatic Water System Fairbanks Morse & Co. Sales Agents Chicago USA. I would like to get an idea of how old it is, and what RPM and pressure it should be run at. EAch piston has a built in relief valve so I imagine that it could have been put on line and it would have maintained what ever pressure they were set at. I also have the old 50 gal. riveted air receiver that came with it. No welds, just rivets and what looks like solder. Are these old air receivers safe to use??

Fill your tank with water, pressure it up to twice the pressure you want to run, if it makes it it's safe, if not you may get a little wet.

if its soldered I would be a bit sus using it.We have an old cylinder on our 65 hp National diesel which we pump up to 300 LBS that is riveted and the joint has then been swaged as in boiler practice.Happy pumping Regards Phillip
