Standard Monarch Exhaust Valve

Has anyone ever replaced the exhaust valve in a Standard Monarch walk-behind garden tractor? If so, can you tell me what valve you used? I need to replace one, and would appreciate any guidance.

What make of engine does it have? Model? Intake or exhaust valve?

The engine was made by Standard Engine Company of Minneapolis, Minn. 3 ½ horse power. He is in need of an exhaust valve. I will try and see if I can find the measurements for one.

Tom, I Might have an extra monarch cylinder with the exhaust valve in it. Let me know if you want me to look. Mike.

Mark I have a Monarch, everthing is there except wheels. I had it runnning 3 years ago. I'm not into that sort of engines. I will sell it for 110.00 dallors.

Thanks for the replies. It looks like a model T Ford valve can be used, if the stem is shortened.
