Good Afternoon, I inherited what I am told to be an Oil City/ South Penn half breed engine. It appears to me to be 95% complete lacking a couple items. I'm mostly looking for a knowledgable soul to learn what I can about this item. I've collected and restored tractors all my life, but this hot tube ignition is a whole new thing for me. Thanks in advance for any help you folks might be able to lend, Rick

Rick,
If you go to the old OFES web page, click on links scroll to the bottom of the page you'll see a link on how to start a hot tube engine. It's pretty informative on starting procedures.Make sure you study all you can on starting and running one of these engines.Harry's old engine page has a good link on hot tube ignitions also.Doug
