Received an email "through ebay" (which it wasn't) saying they paid for my auction (which I had none). One link on the "official looking" ebay email leads me to a login asking me for my user name and password.
Obviously I did not give my ID or password. Tearing down the email (html) The link does not go to ebay at all (supprise!). It did have an ebay item # on it which I was not involved it (supprise!) Be careful out there, do not respond to these! DB |

I have found that when I recieve E Mail from either Ebay or Pay pal before I open it I go right to my Ebay and see if I have any messages. In the event that I do I handle it from there then I go back and delete without opening the E Mail. If I have no messages I go back to the Email and foward it to Ebay without opening in either case and let them deal with it.
