Merry Christmas --- aol problem!!! we can't reach aol members

Hi everyone.

First can we say A Merry Christmas
We have this problem with aol.
From last year we can't send an email to aol members with any of our email addresses (from 4 different providers) with a link to our website in it, and from July we can't mail to aol members at all.
Everything bounces.
All who read this and normaly get a Christmas greating by email. a lot of emails again bounced.
I went so far trying to solve this problem that someone of aol headquarters rang me one evening, a lot of simpathy nice understanding guy.
They try to ban spam and I am a victum of that.
I'll spare you all the technical details involved with reverse dns and so on.
They throw away the kid with the bathing water.
Our sons every year mail the veterans who faught here and liberated us in 1944, but a lot of those veterans of the American 104th infantry division must think the boys forgot them.
So that for us seems the end of a lot of nice contacts in America.

Sorry to bother you all with this but I need to get this of my chest.

I am having the same problem!

Agee1 Maytagtwin and Iflyvfr4fun are all unreachable.

AOL treats their users like mushrooms.

Keep them in the dark and feed them BS.

I have been trying to respond to AGEE1@aol.com since Dec. 24 on an order of parts but I keep getting bounced. This hasn't happened until now. Don, I have a few more parts to add if I can get the e-mail to go through.

G'day all.
I hada similar hassle here in Oz with my server not letting through any pics to me,saying that they had a virus when the senders name was even in my address book i still could'nt get them.But I fixed the blighters i changed my server,i still get the odd one blocked but no where near the amount that where getting knocked off,and less spam to boot.Best wishes Phillip

Merry Xmas and a very Happy New year to you guys too! :-))

The sooner you folks drop AOL and get into a decent ISP the better. The company just don't know how to treat their customers right or how to provide a decent net service.

With a regular ISP you can use your own choice of software. not have to abide by their stupid rules and regulations and it's probably half the price as well!

There are plenty of ISP's around, go find one and change, you'll never regret it.

Guess we can't do anything about it, a lot of people have the problem I understand.
