I usually get my GEM in the later part of the month. I don't subscribe to the Steam but I do get the Farm Collectors which comes in the first part of the month. But I'll tell you, when I see other getting their GEM's, it is scattered all over the month. Hang in there, it well come, but if you don't receive it by the end of the month, call them. I just recently started a subscription to GEM. I ordered it at the end of August. It took about 2 weeks and I got the Aug & Sept issues together. Since then I have gotten one before the first of the month, one just after the first of the month and another nearly 3 weeks into the month. The most recent - Jan '06 came about Dec 28 - 29.

Just got a thing in the mail today telling me that GEM is going to be a Bi-monthly Magazine now. I have been getting more and more irritated ever since the ownership changed. I have very little interest in machining, So the model articles, while interesting, are not what I subscribed for. I'll just have to see what this "new Bigger issue" will be like

Yes...I liked it better before

If you miss issues, notify GEM right away, and they will send replacements.
