Thumbs up Re: ZC 118 Oil sight gauge???

Check out the online parts manual http://www.arrowengine.com/media/arr...ementparts.pdf on the bottom of page 12 is what I believe to be the original oil sight glass assembly part # ACE-299-118 and on page 13 is the individual part #'s for the complete assembly. This assembly fits Fairbanks ZC's from 118 thru 739. Hit & Miss Ent. Jimmy F Bell Equip. and Big State Grinding who are sponsers of this site can supply you with Arrow Replacement Fairbanks ZC parts.

Thanks Doug,
I have that catalog. The gage on p12 is the new style gage. It looks like a sediment bowl. The Early one is on page 15. And hit and miss sent me all the parts listed on page 15. Problem is they do not list the base that all these parts go in. That is what I need. As my hole thing is missing. That is why I am hoping to find a hole assembly to rebuild. As my ZC 118 is a early 1941, I want it to have the right gage. Hear is a pic of someone elses engine showing the gage I need. Thanks!
Kevin

Red face Re: ZC 118 Oil sight gauge???

Your right Kevin. I had forgot all about the oil guage on pg. 15 I'm just used to seeing the "ACE-299" oil guage on the engines around here. I'll keep my eyes open for ya, because I have seen a few of the old style guages around.
