Default Maytag help, please.

Looking for someone with an good original coil for the 2 cylinder Maytag engine.

Also looking for a Maytag Washing machine that uses the 2 cylinder engine. No junk, must be in good useable condition as the machine will be used. Prefer machine from NC, SC, or southern VA, but then again, I can't be too choosy. Let me know what you have, and where you are. If in another state, maybe I can arrange transportation.

Thanks for any help.

Question Re: Maytag help, please.

For coil, 72-D, DA or WICO? The coils are not interchangable, unless you change backing plate, flywheel and timing cam(72-D and DA)

Check out a Gas Engine Magazine. I saw an ad for a company who is building new coils for the twin Maytag. This is a different company than were doing this before. The first company I think had problems with their repoduction coils.
