Default Gould Paint/Shade color

Howdy all;
Am currently tearing into a small Gould water (piston) Pump. Cast on the expansion tank is CID 35.

Can anyone tell me the color/shade that this pump orginally wore?

TIA and Thanks Harry

Hi Rick

I think I just came into the same model as yours. While I don't know the original color, mine has been painted yellow and green, but was hoping to pick your mind.
It was used at a residence in Duvall, Washington and I know it is old. I am sending a picture.
Anyone have a manual?
Do you have any idea of its age?
Are the leathers available?
What type of oil to use in the transmission?
In use, does it need a larger tank?

Any help appreciated
Dennis

The pump I got was originaly gold in color and is just like your pic.The leathers I had to replace I got from a business that deals in pumps down here in Binghamton N.Y. The company that sells gould pumps are still in business and are located in Seneca Falls N.Y. The oil I use in mine is just 10w30.

Thanks for the quick reply Steve

Do you have any idea how old these pumps are? My guess is post-war probably late 40's or early 50's. What do you think?
