Default Spray welding torch info wanted

I would like to get set up to spray weld cast iron. I have looked at a couple web sites and there has been a couple torches for sale on ebay, but I don't know what I need. Seems to be many different sizes and styles. What size do I want? Will any spray torch be able to welding cast iron? Speed is not of major consern as long as it isn't too slow and can do the job.

I have been using a Stoody model 200 for many years. It is a fairly small torch and has some limitations for anything that is thick. It is a matter of heat and if you can get the part up to about 800*F. If the part is not too big I will preheat in an oven then weld. The powder to use is Stoody TG63. This is a straight nickle powder and the deposit can usually be machined. The process tends to harden the cast iron so sometime the machining is difficult. It grinds well and you can blend it nicely. This torch can also be used to lay down hard facing on surfaces. These units are not too expensive but the powder can be. Stoody now only sells the TG63 in 5lb size and it cost about $27 per pound. The torch I bought came with a 1 lb bottle of TG63 and 1 lb of TG86 which is a hard face powder. I certainly use mine and have found it to be an effective way to build up worn parts and the weld cast.

Actually I made an error. The torch is a model JS100 not a 200 as I stated in my earlier reply
