Default Non magnetic Fairbanks Morse

I have a non magnetic Fairbanks Morse 45B two cylinder marine engine with Paragon reverse gear s/n 969896 rated at 25hp @ 2000 rpm. The crank shaft, flywheel, and cylinder liners appear to made of monel. The block, head, manifolds and pistons are aluminum. All fasteners are stainless steel.
The I.D. tag is a military type.
Any idea what type of boat this was used in? How uncommon?
I need the large timing gear, gaskets, bearings, (appears to use cleavite 77s)
and a small part for one of the diesel fuel pumps. The parts all look like a standard 45B, just made out of different materials.

Thanks!

Joe

Talking Re: Non magnetic Fairbanks Morse

I have a Fairbanks Morse 45B and a complete Operations and Parts Manual
that came with it. I, for one, would very much like to see pictures of your
Twin, if you care to post some.

Could it be that this engine is from an early minesweeper?
