I am looking for information on the Blizzard #500 corn chopper made by the Blizzard Manufacturing Co of Canton, OH somewhere between 1920 and 1940. A friend of mine has obtained one of these machines and is trying to restore it for use in our "old time" farming operation during the fair each year. However, he doesn't know the colors it is supposed to be since it is well worn and rusted.
Right now, the blower is green and the hopper is galvanized steel, but he doesn't know the proper color for the frame or the wheels. If anyone has any information on the colors of this piece of equipment or more information about it, I would appreciate it very much. Thank you so very much of your help! Can you send me a picture of this?
I am trying to find a 1/16th scale model of an old fashioned corn chopper. Maybe just a picture will be all I can get. Thanks, Allen |
