I was there, it was a quick auction, started a 9am and was over by noon. Most of the engines were pretty good, I would say at least 60% of them would have started up with little work if any. Prices did seem to be a bit high but then again they just keep going up.

I was there as well. Was over quick, but a good sale. Lots of pretty good engines. I thought the bidders were really, really hungry. Of course, one engine followed me home as well.

I made the trip to the sale also, I thought the prices were on the higher side. Nothing came home with me, I just helped someone else spend money.

Looking at a list of the dollors paid without a clue of the engines conditon does not seem like a very good representation. Why not give a short discription along with the price paid.

Alan,
The description if any & usually some photos are posted on the auctioneer's site prior to auction, then sold prices only after the auction. It might be helpful if they left the listings up for a few days after the auction.
