Default Today's auction madness

I went to an auction up the road from the house today with 5 John Deere tractors and one 1-1/2 hp E engine. The engine was restored and mounted on a home made cart. The pulley side flywheel wobbled pretty good when they fired it up just before selling it. Final bid was $1300!!

I didn't keep track of what all the tractors brought, but here are a couple that I remember or at least ballpark figures: 44 B hand start, ran but needed serious restoration $1300; 43 A electric start, restored, $2600, 49 G restored $6000, 56 70 diesel, NF, unrestored, $3000, 67 4020 diesel WF, $6000. I missed what the 48 B brought that was restored, but I know it was over $2000 as well.

If I ever have an auction, I'm slapping a coat of JD green paint on everything. It should make a nice retirement fund for me.
