B&S engine sold by Sears

I recently purchased a Briggs engine sold by Sears. The ID plate contains a Sears model number of 500.306627 with a serial number of 1250743. Can anyone out there tell me exactly what B&S model this is? I suspect it may be a model "I" or "N", but would sure like to know. I called both Sears and Briggs but received no help.

Your Sears model number shows this to be a model N engine.
