I know on my 1917 Mogul, 2 1/2 hp, the band is not brass. I was told that it changed in either 1915 or 1916.

Question Re: IHC Mag, brass band???

All the type L mags that ive ever seen were aluminum bands. some early Rs were brass bands but were accurate magnetos. you see a lot of reproduction bands and most are brass, possibly incorrect. db.
