Default Witte 1900 / Sattley 1917

Hi, I have found a witte 1 1/4 hp pumper. Its part of an estate I am helping to sell off. I found a letter from oilwell co. (witte in 1987), dated 1987 stating that they had never seen this model untill now. This letter goes on to say that after searching witte records this particular model is one of 283 production run. This being said I called a few people and they recommended this site to get some help. I called Oilwell Co., they are very interested in this engine and I just need help in figuring it all out. At this time the engine has been on display in a museum in mint restored condition. I think I would like to ask you what to do ...1. sell it online to private party.
2. Sell it to Oilwell co. 3. what do you think a mint museum witte dated 1900 would be worth? If there is anyone that could point me in the right direction, that would be great. (Now the other engine in the museum is a sattley 1 1/2 hp 1917, this also has been restored to mint condition and has a heavy lift pump with windmill head attached to it).

Default Re: Witte power saw

I am in the UK and can find no information about the Witte Power saw (imported from Canada) I have. Obviously a reciprocating saw but no blade. Can you help me with identifying age, type and value? I have a picture and serial no if this helps? Or put me in the right direction?
Thanks, Fred
